How I got here

Five years of turning raw data into dashboards people actually use set the direction. Every stop since has been about shortening the distance between a number and a decision.

7f3a2c1 Accenture · Jun 2019 – Feb 2022

feat: SQL-based validation + reporting framework, -60% discrepancies

First real lesson in production reporting: a 4.5M-customer billing base doesn't forgive a wrong number on a dashboard. Built row-level checks and reconciliation reports that cut discrepancies 60% and shortened month-end close by 10%.

c9e81b4 Oracle Corporation · Feb 2022 – Dec 2024

feat: automated KPI dashboards, 99% on-time delivery

Moved from ad hoc reporting to automated KPI dashboards (churn, usage patterns) that leadership could track every week, with 98%+ accuracy holding across 600K+ subscriber billing records. Earned "Best Upcoming Talent," FY23 Q3.

a10d5e7 Penn State Research · Sep 2025 – May 2026

feat: event analytics + scenario dashboards, -83% planning time

Consolidated 6 disparate Excel sources into one KPI model and built scenario dashboards that moved event planning from reactive to data-informed, cutting the timeline from 12 months to 2.

f42b901 Barton Malow · May 2026 – Aug 2026

feat: leadership dashboards shipped to production

Where the two threads met: a 4-tab cost dashboard surfacing $142K in platform spend, and a data quality dashboard keeping 23 production tables clean and reportable.

The throughline: every role shortened the distance between a number and a decision, first through reports, then dashboards, then scenario models. The Barton Malow work is what all four look like combined into one.

The pragmatic builder

Everything I build is grounded in a production mindset.

"Understanding existing systems deeply before changing them, designing for the next person who has to maintain my work, and communicating technical findings in a way non-technical stakeholders can act on." That’s the standard I actually build to.

5+ years turning messy real-world data into dashboards and decisions leadership can act on

Data Science Intern

Barton Malow Featured

May 2026 – Aug 2026 Michigan, United States
  • Built a Databricks Cost Analytics pipeline and 4-tab leadership dashboard from Unity Catalog billing/compute data, surfacing $142K in lifetime platform spend and $13.2K in idle resource cost across 885 unused objects. Automated an ownership-resolution hierarchy across 933 resources that cut the unowned-spend gap from 85.6% to 54%.
  • Designed a Claude AI cost-attribution dashboard isolating agent query costs from shared Databricks serverless compute (20+ users, 8,000+ queries, $0.53 avg cost/query), revealing AI's share of warehouse spend grew 5.5× in 5 months (1.5% → 8.3%), giving leadership real-time cost visibility before it became a budget concern.
  • Engineered a 211-rule automated data quality framework spanning 23 production tables in a $159B CRM pipeline, achieving 100% clean execution and routing a weekly reporting digest to record owners.

Alzheimer's Market Overview: Dual-Platform Dashboards

Problem

A 202,499-row TRx pharmaceutical dataset had real signal in it, brand share shifting, specialty channels performing differently, but no single dashboard the whole stakeholder audience actually trusted.

Why

A brand manager who lives in Tableau and an analyst who lives in Python shouldn't have to fight over which tool the truth lives in. The finding matters more than the tool it's rendered in.

How

The same brand/specialty/channel analysis, built twice: once as an interactive Python (Plotly) dashboard exported as a shareable standalone HTML file, once as a native Tableau workbook, so either audience gets the same answer in the tool they already trust.

Penn State Alumni Event Forecasting

Problem

Six years of alumni event data lived in 6 disparate Excel files with no shared KPI definitions, so planning for the next event meant starting from scratch and guessing at the budget.

Why

A budget conversation without a range is just a guess dressed up as a number. Stakeholders needed to see best-case and worst-case, not one point estimate to argue about.

How

Consolidated 6 Excel sources into one unified KPI model, then built a blended trend + recency-weighted forecast with three funding scenarios, conservative, expected, optimistic, so planning moved from reactive to data-informed.
